The RokerPods are managed by CEED, an environmental charity based in Roker Park delivering education and support for individuals and groups.

 

The RokerPods were designed and produced as part of the seafront improvements. These spherical shaped spaces are wonderful spaces which can be used for a variety of events and activities. Educational spaces for kids exploring the seafront, a classroom away from college, a birthday party, a pop up shop or a place to launch a new product. There are three pods at the moment, one of them is being used as a cafe selling anything from buckets and spades to coffees and ice-cream.

 

The seafront is stunning and the RokerPods make the seafront at Sunderland all the more special and unique.
